Privacy Policy

WebsiNova Technologies ("WebsiNova", "we", "us") is a software development studio based in Mumbai, India. We decide how personal data collected through this website is used, and we are responsible for it.

We only collect what we need. Depending on how you use the site, that is:

• -Enquiry details. When you send the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message, plus your company name and budget if you choose to add them.
• -Emails you send us. If you write to hello@websinova.com, we receive your email address, your name and anything you include in the message.
• -Usage data. Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages visited, time spent, how you arrived (for example from a search or a link), device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
• -Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of each request, so it can deliver pages and keep the site secure.
• -Demo call data. If you call our AI voice agent demo on WhatsApp, we receive the phone number you call from and a record of the call. See The AI voice agent demo below.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, such as health, financial or government ID details, anywhere on this website. Please do not include it in the contact form or in a demo call.

• -To reply to your enquiry and talk through a possible project.
• -If we go on to work together, to set up and run that engagement.
• -To understand which pages are useful and improve the site, using analytics reports.
• -To keep the site and the contact form secure, including filtering spam.
• -To review and improve our AI voice agent demo.
• -To meet legal, tax or accounting obligations where they apply.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process personal data that you voluntarily give us, such as a contact form enquiry, for the purpose you gave it to us, and personal data you have consented to share. We also process data where the law requires or permits it.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR are:

• -Steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, when we reply to a project enquiry.
• -Performance of a contract, when we work together.
• -Our legitimate interests in running, understanding and securing this website, and in replying to messages sent to us.
• -Compliance with legal obligations, such as keeping business records.

This website sets cookies only for Google Analytics. These cookies (their names start with _ga) store a random identifier so Analytics can tell visits apart and count returning visitors. We do not add advertising or retargeting pixels to this site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Every part of the site, including the contact form, works without cookies.

We use a small number of service providers to run this website. Each one only receives the data it needs for its part:

• -Vercel hosts this website and processes server logs.
• -Google provides Google Analytics usage statistics.
• -Web3Forms receives contact form submissions and delivers them to our inbox by email.
• -Our email provider stores the enquiry emails we receive and send.
• -Our voice and telephony providers process calls to the AI voice agent demo.

Some services are used through links on our site and have their own privacy policies. These include Cal.com, when you book a call with us, and WhatsApp, when you call the demo. The same applies to our LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook pages.

We may also disclose personal data when the law, a court or a government authority requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or to a successor if our business is reorganised or sold. We do not share it for any other reason.

Our Products page links to a WhatsApp number where you can talk to Emma, an AI receptionist for a demo clinic. When you call, our voice and telephony providers process your voice so the agent can understand and respond. We receive the phone number you call from, and each call is logged with a transcript and a short summary so we can review and improve the demo.

The demo is not a real clinic. Please do not share real health information, payment details or other sensitive information during a call. If you want a demo call record deleted, email us with the number you called from.

Some of our service providers store or process data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. When your data is transferred like this, we use established providers that publish their own data protection commitments. We do not transfer personal data to any country the Government of India has restricted.

• -Enquiries and related emails: while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you get back in touch. If we work together, we keep project correspondence for the length of the engagement and as long as legal, tax or accounting rules require.
• -Analytics data: for the period set in our Google Analytics data retention settings, after which Google deletes it.
• -Server logs: for a limited period, under our hosting provider’s own retention policy.
• -Demo call records: only for as long as we need them to review and improve the demo.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry or demo call record at any time, unless we have a legal reason to keep it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• -Know what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it.
• -Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated.
• -Have your data deleted.
• -Withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect anything we did with your data before you withdrew it.
• -Object to or restrict certain uses of your data, and receive your data in a portable format (EEA and UK).
• -Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to act (India).
• -Have a complaint about how we handle your data addressed.

To use any of these rights, email hello@websinova.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We aim to respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can complain to your local data protection authority, which in the UK is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

The site is served only over HTTPS. Access to our enquiry inbox, analytics and demo call records is limited to the people at WebsiNova who need it. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach happens, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.

This website is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

When we build software for a client, any personal data in that project, such as the client’s own customers or users, is handled under our written agreement with that client, and the client decides how it is used. This policy only covers data collected through this website. If you use a product we built for another company, contact that company about your data.

Karyalo, our contract management product, runs on its own website at karyalo.in. Its own policies apply there.

We will update this policy when the website or the way we handle data changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly on this page.
